5 Halloween Costume Shoes You Probably Already Own

Halloween has arrived, and whether you’ve got your entire outfit planned or are just piecing it together, you’ll need shoes to complete your look. Chances are these shoes are already sitting in your closet,  but if not, no worries! is currently having a spooktacular sale and I’ve tracked down some of the hottest styles that will serve you well all season long.

The following shoe styles will complement a number of women’s Halloween costumes. Let me know what you’re dressing as this Halloween in the comments below!

Black Knee High Boots

When your outfit is skintight and a little S&M, you can count on your favorite pair of black leather knee high boots. A stiletto boot like this MICHAEL Michael Kors Clara Boot ($263.99) will add major sex appeal to your costume, but you can choose a more practical wedge or flat heel and get a similar look. A knee-high boot with buckles or studs works well for police officer costumes, while a patent boot or one with all-over glitter looks BLAMtastic for superhero costumes.

Gladiator Sandals

If you’re channeling your inner goddess or going gladiator glam this Halloween, then you’ll need a sexy pair of gladiator sandals. A lace-up gladiator heel will work beautifully, but you can also get away with a flat gladiator sandal in brown, silver or gold. This Fergie Bonnie gladiator ($69.95) is tough-chic and ready to add some edge to your favorite little black dress year-round.

Platform Pumps

The key piece of any sexy Halloween costume is a high pair of platform pumps. A black pair will do just fine for most outfits, but I wish I had this black and white GX by Gwen Stefani Overt platform pump ($99.95) in my closet! In fact, maybe I’ll just have to add it…

Fur Boots

Dress as your favorite furry and complete the look with a cozy pair of fur boots! Chances are you have a pair of fur-trimmed boots or calf hair leopard-print booties. If not, this CAT Footwear Boisterous Fur bootie ($160.95) will serve you well all winter long with your favorite skinny jeans and leggings.

Biker Boots

Army babes and vixen villains require a badass biker boots. You probably already have a pair of flat biker boots, which will toughen up any short-hemmed outfit. No? You won’t be sorry for investing in this versatile Harley-Davidson Marissa mid-calf boot ($154.95).
