Cut It Out

cutout shoes

When it comes to dressing for fall, I just can’t get enough of cutout shoes! Boots and sandals with cutouts can transition well into the fall season, especially when paired with tights or when there are just a few strategic, skin-baring cutouts. Break free of the idea that cooler temperatures call for closed shoes, and check out these cutout shoes I’ve been coveting from eBay. I plan on updating my wardrobe with at least one pair!

I am drawn to geometric cutout shapes and unexpected “negative spaces”. I love these beige Azzedine Alaia studded cutout sandals (#1). They would be the perfect complement to opaque colored tights and corduroy pants in autumn earth tones. I also love the Christian Louboutin camel peep toe platform sandals (#2). That sexy side slit shows just enough skin without completely exposing the foot to frigid temperatures. And of course, I can’t forget city-chic black cutout ankle boots (#3). These would look stylishly rough-and-tumble with a pair of leather leggings. They would also add some edge to a pleated mini skirt.

Be sure you add some cutout shoes to your own wardrobe this fall (and winter). There’s no better way to transition your shoe wardrobe for the new season. I’ve curated additional cutout boots and shoes that have caught my eye. Be sure to follow me on eBay to check out the rest of my shoppable collections.
