Current Obsession: High-Heeled Clogs

Okay, I’ll admit it…it’s taken some time but I’ve become smitten with clogs. It is the high-heeled versions, a la Chanel, that have won my affection (see above). Luckily, there are many designer-inspired styles available at more reasonable costs, and I’ve decided to invest in a pair, since they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, you should keep an eye out for clog boots this fall! So help me choose: which of the following clogs do you like best? If you have a suggestion for me, feel free to leave a comment or email me. And now, in order from shortest heel to tallest…

hazel

Miz Mooz ‘Hazel’
$99.99 at infinityshoes.com
This shoe is the perfect way to add some pinup appeal to your summer outfit! I think these would look so cute with cuffed jeans or a sundress. 3″ heel.

clarks

Indigo by Clarks ‘Cleary’ clog
$79.99 at piperlime.com plus, for 2 DAYS ONLY! Get an extra 10% off sale with code EXTRA10 – ends 5/13 at 11:59pm PDT.
These have a 3 1/2″ heel but I’m sure they are the most comfortable choice on this list, being by Clarks and featuring a padded footbed.

nine west
Nine West – Arrowhead (Dark Grey/Black Fabric) clog

$31.35 at 6pm.com

From Nine West’s Vintage America Collection, this clog has ruched detail and a 3 1/4″ heel.

karl

Jeffrey Campbell
Karl Beige Fabric, $135.00 at jildorshoes.com

Also available in Navy Fabric, this clog is the closest thing I think you can get to the Chanel look without paying a hefty price. 4″ wood heel.

durann

Steven by Steve Madden
Durann Black Leather, $149.00 at jildorshoes.com

Perhaps the clog with the most going on, this is a statement shoe that will last you through fall. 4 1/2″ heel.

daynty

Steve Madden
Daynty Taupe Leather, $89.00 at jildorshoes.com

This is the clog I’m leaning toward, because I’ve seen them in person, on another person, and they look amazing. The only negative is that same person told me she had just bought them, and one of the heels had already broken. Maybe it’s just a fluke? 5 1/4″ heel.
