Review of Bonnie Marcus’ “Day at the Beach” Flip-flops

I received a pair of these “Day at the Beach” flip-flops from Joanna at Bonnie Marcus, and I must say that I was instantly taken by how cute they are!  In addition to the sandals, I also received a beautiful media kit in a hot pink and animal print folder.  Needless to say, I was impressed.  Since I got them, I’ve worn them to and from my pedicure appointments, to the grocery store, and for a nice stroll around the block.  They never once hurt my feet in any way, and I even got a compliment from my pedicurist!

A bit about Bonnie Marcus:

Bonnie Marcus launched her fashionable stationery company in 2002, while preparing for her first baby.  She was a wedding planner in New York City and the Special Events Coordinator at the prestigious 92nd Street Y in Manhattan, so she had an idea of what was missing in the invitation market.  The Bonnie Marcus Collection can be found in over 1,000 retail stores worldwide, and it has grown from a few bridal shower invitations to over 500 chic designs.  It was just this year that Bonnie released her first collection of flip-flops for brides and moms-to-be.  Tote bags and other projects are in the works.  Bonnie was recently named the new spokesperson for Bank of America’s small business division.

I love the fact that the Bonnie Marcus Collection donates a portion of their proceeds to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and other organizations that support breast cancer awareness.  Another reason to love the company is that in 2008, it announced that it was Going Green, and now all of the designs are printed on recycled paper with at least 30% post consumer waste fiber.
